Option 1: Contact your funeral home and request that the funeral home submit the obituary on your behalf. Most funeral homes will perform this service if the obituary is recent (within 30 days). If the obituary is not recent, see option 2. The funeral home may charge an administration fee; InternetObits.com does not charge any fees for this option. It is preferred that you e-mail the obituary and attach a scanned image (image is not required) to the funeral home. E-mailing the obituary makes it easier for your funeral home to process.

Option 2: Fill out the posting request form. This form allows you to enter the obituary along with a picture if you choose to submit one. An administration fee of $10.00 will be charged by InternetObits.com. We require proof of death to process the obituary. Please e-mail or fax the death certificate and/or the funeral home name and phone number. Your obitaury will go live on the site once we receive payment and proof of death.

With option 2 you will be able to modify or delete the obituary you submitted at any time with no fee. Simply log into the site with your username and password and you will have the option to modify/delete any obituary you posted.
